To define an appeal

1.  From Fundraising, select Set up tables > Appeals to display the Set up appeals window.

2.  Click New.

3.  Enter a unique alphanumeric Code for the appeal.

4.  (optional) Enter a descriptive Title for the appeal.

5.  (optional) Enter a detailed Description of the appeal. This description displays only in the Set up appeals window.

6.  (optional) Enter the Campaign to which this appeal belongs, or click the lookup icon and select a campaign.

7.  (optional) Enter the Fund to which this appeal belongs, or click the lookup icon and select a fund.

8.  (optional) Enter the Appeal Type, or click the lookup icon and select an appeal type.

9.  (optional) Enter the Goal for the appeal.

10. (optional) Enter the date that the appeal starts in the Begin field.

11. (optional) Enter the date that the appeal ends in the End field, or enable the Perpetual option if the appeal is ongoing.

12. (optional) Enter the quantity dropped for the appeal in the Qty Dropped field.

13. (optional) Click Premiums to apply a premium to the appeal.

14. Click Save.
